14 Bible Verses To Read When You’re Sad

sad woman

In a broken world, sadness is a guarantee. During these times of sadness, it’s easy to believe lies about our worth and God’s love for us. It’s exactly what the Enemy wants—for us to feel isolated and forgotten.

But, friend, let’s remember the truth we find all throughout Scripture: our Lord is ever close to the brokenhearted. He doesn’t just observe from a distance; He actively comforts those who mourn and restores strength to the weary.

Know this: You are seen. You are cherished. Jesus cares deeply about you. As you read through these Bible verses, I pray that they are a gentle reminder of His enduring presence and love, especially in your times of sadness.
