14 Bible Verses to Read When You’re Feeling Anxious
Feeling stressed out is more common than ever these days. Experts say we’re living in one of the most anxious times in history. It’s not hard to see why. Our culture often tells us to be independent, and asking for help can feel like a sign of weakness.
But when we look to Christ, we realize we were never meant to navigate this world alone. There’s a peace that goes beyond understanding when we focus on Him and trust in His plan.
It’s always the right time to lean on Christ. Jesus offers us incredible encouragement through His Word. Here are 14 verses to turn to when you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or fearful.
And remember, asking for help is not weak.
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Psalms 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
